Fiesta and Snowflakes

We had our first snow fall on Thursday.  It is a big deal here in the desert.  Lots of accidents as people do not know how to drive or rather slow down.  Luckily, there wasn't a lot of traffic as schools are still out.

Here is a picture of my backyard and my Reagan eating snow.  I don't know what her exposure to snow was before but when we first went out in the morning she was a bit afraid of the falling snow. By the afternoon, she was eating it.  I didn't get a picture of Ryleigh as she was off exploring under the trees.

The snow was inspiration for my table.  I found the place mats on clearance at Kohl's and I already had all the other snowflakes on the table.  The Fiesta colors are Periwinkle and White.  The flatware was a gift from my cousin.

  4. A little snow in the desert is always nice. Very pretty table, Monica. I really like that periwinkle color...your napkins match perfectly!

  5. Another beautiful table!!! Don't you love the snow, minus the accidents! Have a great weekend, Laura

  6. Snow in the desert...I saw it on the news and loved the contradiction between snow and desert. I never tire of seeing what you do with your fiesta ware. Your must have multiple pieces in every color which means endless combination possibilities.

  7. Your snowflake inspiration for your table turned out very nicely and real snow too.

It is so nice how well your colors in your placemats, napkins and fiestaware matched perfectly. I love the happy and peaceful feeling your table promotes.

  8. Lots of snow up here but I'm sure it seems strange to you guys. As usual I love the fiesta ware a pretty combination. I also really love your white on white tablecloth. It show up beautiful in your photos. Stay warm, hope you have great week, Laura
