Still Summer

Yes, I agree with Cuisine Kathleen that it is still summer!!  Although, I will admit I can't wait to play with some of my fall dishes/linens/decorations.

I've missed blogging and playing dishes with all of you! It has been super busy with my parents and new fur babies.  I have continued to set my table but never had to the chance to take pictures.

So here is the table I will share with you today.  The decal plate is Lido with a Sun Porch decal.  I found them at a thrift store.  Only three plates were in good, usable condition. There were a total of 5 and a platter and bowl. I love dishes on dishes.  Can you see the Fiesta on the table? There is Fiesta in Shamrock, Scarlet, Cobalt and Sunflower.

Thanks for stopping by.  I will be linking up with Cuisine Kathleen for Let's Dish!  Make sure to stop to see what everyone has on their table this week.

  3. I am always amazed how you can set such pretty tables with fiesta ware.I remember I worked with a lady when I was a teen helping with her rooming house washing dishes and I broke a cup. These were vintage and be worth a lot now. there were in several colors in a set. Thanks for stopping by love when someone takes the time to comment.

  4. Love those plates the perfect way to end summer! I've been thinking of you, because, I finally got a chance to see the new fiesta color! I was a little disappointed it was not more pink it looked peachy to me. Have you picked up any of the new color? What did do you think of the new color? Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend, Laura

    1. Hi Laura! I think many were hoping it would be more "shocking" but they did what they could. I did purchase two dinner and luncheon plates along with the mini pitcher and the salt and pepper shakers. I'm hoping to get a bud vase. With the last three items I mentioned, I try to get them in every color. I've made it work with several colors. I need to post the tables I set these past few weeks. There is not enough time do everything that needs to be done and have fun too. Enjoy the weekend.

  7. I understand what you are saying about time. I need to do a new post but actually would rather read everyone's posts. I have thought about you and your parents and remembered you. Hope things have settled down and I wish all to be happy.

Glad you are adding pieces to your collection. I haven't been shopping where fiesta was available but I will think of you when I do.
