First Fall Table of the Season

I have been taking out the fall decorations all week. I was a happy get working on the table even though I resisted. The weather here in the West Texas desert is still HOT.  We were at 94 degrees yesterday and today we hit 90.

I decorated several areas. Here is a cart to the side of the table. I'm sure the pumpkin was meant for votive holders but I'm being creative and using it to display the salt and pepper shakers.

This little dish is Franciscan. It is stamped USA.

I love the detail on this bowl. I saw it for several weeks before I bought it. It was meant to be mine.

It is my favorite of time of the week: Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps on the Porch. I can't wait to see everyone's tables. Happy Fall every one. Have a great weekend!

  1. Simple, practical and lovely Fall table.
Everything looks very nice, and inviting!
I have the same salt/pepper shakers, and
love them, a gift from a friend.
Saw those glasses at our dollar tree and
thought about them, but wondered where in
the world I would store them!! lol
    Enjoyed my visit.
Blessings for a Wonderful Fall Season,

  2. It is STILL that hot there?!???!! You must really have to work hard to muster up the feeling that it's fall! I hope much better weather finds its way to you soon! Meanwhile, it looks like you're having a wonderful time bringing fall indoors even if it's still like the height of summer outdoors! Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Hi Monica. Somehow I missed commenting on this table. I like your fall colors, especially on the rice bowl!

  4. Hi lovely lady.

Im sorry for not coming over to see you but. I have been sick. Thanks so much for your Happy Birthday wish. I hope you have a great weekend.
